Private Labs Launches New Analytics Dashboards for Private Markets Investors
Delivered through PortfolioLabs, the platform’s analytics module, the new dashboards let LPs and private-markets professionals reach analytics across individual funds and entire portfolios.
Cagliari, 3rd September 2026 - Private Labs today announced the release of a new set of analytics dashboards within PortfolioLabs, its portfolio management and analytics module, designed to give Limited Partners and private-markets professionals a clearer, faster view of their investments. The dashboards work seamlessly at both the individual fund and the whole-portfolio level, and can be explored online or exported to PDF and Excel.

The launch tackles one of the hardest problems in private markets: turning fragmented, inconsistent fund data into analytics investors can trust. Behind the dashboards, DataLabs - the platform’s data module - extracts look-through data from each fund using AI, then aggregates it over time - cleaning duplicates, unwinding SPV structures, and flagging missing or incorrect data - before allocating it pro-rata across the LP portfolio based on Adjusted NAV. The result is a single, clean record that powers every view.
Insight across leverage, performance and exposure
The initial suite spans the questions investors ask most. A new leverage dashboard reveals a fund’s total leverage and how it breaks down across user-defined aggregations such as sector, vintage, country and how it evolves over time. A performance and cashflows view brings all the key performance measures together with historical cash flows, then lets investors drill into the underlying investments driving returns. And an exposure dashboard identifies the main risk drivers across sector, country, vintage and individual companies, and tracks how those weights shift over the life of the fund.
Three ways to reach every answer
With this release, Private Labs delivers analytics through three complementary channels. Investors can use the dashboards designed within PortfolioLabs, which distill deep private-markets expertise into a clear, ready-to-use view. They can turn to Dante, the platform’s AI assistant, which transforms a plain-language prompt into exactly the chart or table an investor has in mind. Or they can connect directly through the Private Labs API, gathering the underlying data into their own applications and designing their analytics with full autonomy.
“We now deliver analytics in three ways, and investors can choose whichever fits the moment,” said Dario Cintioli, Founder & CEO of Private Labs. “There are the dashboards we design ourselves within PortfolioLabs, distilling years of private-markets expertise into a view that’s ready to use. There is Dante, our AI assistant, which turns a simple prompt into precisely the chart or table an investor imagines. And there is our API, which puts our data directly in our clients’ hands and gives them full flexibility to build their own analytics autonomously. Whether you want our interpretation, your own, or something created on the fly, the answer is now a few clicks away.”
