Private Labs achieves 100% accuracy in investment look-through extractions
Private Labs released at the end of July its AI-powered data extraction service for private funds and private assets in a beta version.
Private Labs’ SaaS reads private fund reports to extract normalized financial statements, investment schedules, company and asset information, together with another set of general fund information, leveraging the most recent AI technology.
The pre-production tests reveal 100% accuracy in the extraction sample and in the out-of-sample tests for Financial Statements and Investment Schedules.
Dario Cintioli, CEO and Founder says: “We are proud of having achieved 100% accuracy in our AI-powered extractions in just a few months of development work. This is a testament to the quality and speed of development that Private Labs offers. We are launching the beta version of our Private Fund Data extraction services with one of the best success rates in the industry.”
Kate Koleczek, COO and Co-Founder adds: “We have solved the hardest challenges of extracting investment schedules of private funds by defining a structured, logical data model, where companies and the assets they issue are independent entities, uniquely identified. Their unique definitions enable us to link fund assets through different reporting periods and across different funds where they are ultimately held.”
Chris Stefano, CTO and Co-Founder, explains: “We have demonstrated that AI-powered data extraction is effective and we have made it secure, following ‘Secure-by-Design’ principles and drawing on our experience in developing SaaS products. We have included all critical aspects of information security into the design of our multi-tenant architecture, to safeguard client data and ensure compliance with confidentiality agreements.”
